For the month of September, you can help with disaster relief and Nazarene Compassionate Ministries makes it easy. Visit the link below for more information or to donate to the cause. www.ncm.org
You can also give through the church. Simply make out your check to Liberty Bible, mark it "Disaster Relief" & the church will send all monies collected to Nazarene Compassionate Ministries to be used to bless the people that have been affected by the Mexico earthquake, Hurricane Harvey & Hurricane Irma.. For many of the kids at Liberty Bible, the annual Bike Night is one of the highlights of the summer! It's our traditional "last hurrah" before all the kids head back to school and our children's department starts back on the regular Wednesday night schedule.
Tonight, we had almost 60 kids join us! The parking lot was roped off and set up with jumps, an obstacle course and a bike decorating station. We had hot dogs, chips, watermelon, ice cream floats and lots and lots of prizes! As the new school year begins, make sure to keep our kids in your prayers. And keep in mind that our children's ministry department is seeking volunteers. If you feel led to do so, please visit our volunteer page and let us know if you'd be willing to help! All your children shall be taught by the LORD, and great shall be the peace of your children. Isaiah 54:13 While many of us were off on the annual church camp-out at the Cove, James (our worship pastor) stayed behind to help supervise the installation of a new speaker system in the sanctuary! Our old system was really starting to show it's age and was also not designed to handle the addition of a balcony to our sanctuary. We hope that if you ever felt that the sound at church was hard to understand, too loud or even too soft...that this system will be music to your ears! |
