At Liberty Bible, Bow the Knee is one of our biggest events. It takes hundreds of volunteers putting in thousands of hours combined to make it happen. There are whole teams of people working with costumes, make-up, audio/video, construction, set design, kids & food (much of which gets donated by church members). This is in addition to the roughly 200 people who perform in the cast & choir.
So why do we do this? Keep reading, we'll get to that...
First, as a little wrap up, we'd like to let you know about some of our numbers for this years performances:
5441 people were counted as they came through the doors (this doesn't include anyone who may have already been inside the building or who entered through an entrance other than the front). That's actually a little less than we had last year.
But guess what...even with the slightly lower attendance...we counted nearly 400 people who stood and made a decision for Christ! That's 100 more than last year!
Those 400 people...that's why we do this.
Pray for those 400 people. That they would get connected with a church that will help them out in their new walk with Jesus.
Here at Liberty, we're throwing a "Spiritual Birthday Party" to welcome these folks as new members of God's Forever Family.
The cast and choir of Bow the Knee 2016 gathered at Liberty Bible for several hours of rehearsal today.
2 of our performances have already sold out. The other 3 are rapidly getting low on availability.
If you are planning to attend Bow the Knee this year make sure to get your tickets while we still have some! Visit BowTheKnee.com.
