Discipleship Pastor
My name is Amber Hill, and it is a gift to serve as the Discipleship Pastor at Liberty Bible. We weren’t meant to live out our faith alone and my heart is for everyone who attends Liberty Bible to know they have a place here! I was raised in the Nazarene church my entire life, but in 2007, God opened my eyes to see what it truly means to be alive in Christ. After experiencing His transforming love, truth, and power, God put in me a desire to share that love with others. I love hearing people’s unique stories and I have a passion for helping others see the beauty, joy, freedom, and peace found in a relationship with Jesus and the great privilege we have in being disciples who make disciples.
I’ve been married to my greatest friend and partner in ministry, Ryan, since 2002 and we have four awesome kids, Morgan, Jaylen, Preston, and Ethan.
Ryan and I have partnered together in various ministry roles over the years, including the startup of a thriving young adult and youth basketball ministry, Youth and College Ministry and have served on many mission trips together. We currently have separate roles, but we remain a great Kingdom team and we love watching God do his restorative work in people’s lives!
I took the course of study through Northwest Nazarene University until receiving my district License and have recently continued my education at NNU to complete my degree in Pastoral Ministry.
In my free time, you will likely find me with my family and friends, spending time learning something new, or eating a slice of pizza. I love baking, camping, working in my garden, going to the beach, and I usually have a non-fiction book close by.
I look forward to partnering with you as we live out the way of Jesus in our homes, places of work, schools, and in our community so the world may know the hope we have in Jesus Christ.
